Program Info

Owen Sound Minor Hockey currently has over 600 children participating.  We offer 3 levels of hockey:

#1) Non-Body contact house league.

#2) Additional Entry

House League - Non-Body Contact:

Our House League Program runs from October 01 to March 31st.  Our program faciliates children from age 5 to 17.  On average each player will be on the ice 1.5 times per week.  They will participate in our annual Christmas tournament & children aged 5 to 9 will also be provided a series of power skating classes.  Our house league program is managed by the 2nd vice president for contact numbers please view our contact page.

Additional Entry 

Our Additional Entry teams are selected after the rep team try outs.  Their tryouts normally commence towards the end of September.  We offer teams in Novice, Atom, Pee-Wee, Bantam & Midget.  Our "AE" teams participate in the Georgian Bay League.  Each team will have a designated team budget.  In the past these budgets have ranged from $50 to $150 per month per player.  Our "AE" teams are administerd by the 1st vice president.  For contact info please view our contact page.

Representative

Representative Hockey is the most compettive level in our system.  Tryouts commence in Mid September.  We offer the following teams Novice, Minor Atom, Atom, Minor Pee-Wee, Pee-Wee, Minor Bantam, Bantam, Minor Midget, Midget & Juvenille.  The Minor Bantam, Minor Midgets & Midgets play in the Tri-County League the balance of the teams play in Group A of the Georgian Bay League. 

Team budgets normally range between $75 - $150 per month.
